Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: Can I pick up my order to save on shipping?
A: Yes.  You can pick up your order at our physical location at the Harbourview Market in downtown Dartmouth.  Please email the order and the date at which you would like to pick it up.

Q: How does Preordering work?
A: Preorders should be placed separately from in stock orders.  Please make sure to choose Purchase Order as your payment method when placing a preorder.  This will allow you to keep a track of your preorders via your customer account when you are logged in to the site.

Generally, deposits are not necessary for most preorders. However, sometimes in the case of first time orders or for particularly expensive items we may at our discretion request a small pre payment deposit.

Please bear in mind preorder dates are subject to change and availability. We do not solicit items or take preorders for items that we believe we may have trouble fulfilling.

Once a preordered item arrives in stock you will be contacted via a BigPfeiffer representative either via email in the first instance or by telephone if an email is not replied to. A payment request will then be sent. All orders ship out within 24 hours of receiving payment.

A customer may at their discretion, cancel a preorder. We do ask though that if you do decide to cancel a preorder that you do so as early as possible to allow us to better manage our inventory. With all due respect, we ask that customers only preorder items that they are sure they wish to purchase. Customers who abuse this preorder policy may be required to pay all preorders in full and in advance.
